David Odyssey is a writer, astrologer and magician. He is the former astrology columnist for NYLON, and since 2019 has hosted The David Odyssey Show, a podcast covering cosmos and culture. He is the author of When Saturn Returns (Chronicle, 2025) and has offered astrological and tarot readings to hundreds of clients around the world.
Since 2007, David has covered LGBTQ art and culture, writing for for W, Vulture, GAWKER, DAZED, OutSmart, Entertainment Weekly and other publications. He is a former editor at Time Out New York (2015–2019) and has performed original work at stages all over New York City. He is a mystic initiate and enrolled in Rabbinical studies.
David has worked with clients around the globe, counseling them through endless metamorphoses and awakenings. He is available for readings, consultations, writing commissions, group courses and beyond. He looks forward to working with you.
